Led the vision and design of men’s apparel, modernizing styles and refining franchise programs, while developing trend-relevant products to attract new customers. Collaborated with women’s design directors to establish seasonal, whole-house concepts. Directed a team of seven designers, focusing on elevating the product, inspiring creativity, and fostering growth. Partnered with the men’s DMM on assortment strategies, launch cadence, and marketing direction. Worked cross-functionally with counterparts in sourcing, tech design, brand creative, and visual merchandising to ensure the execution of the design vision at every stage of the product lifecycle.

Direct and oversee the development and design of woven shirts, outerwear, swimwear, underwear, lounge, accessories, and footwear. Establish seasonal concept direction, including color palette, key item strategy, and market-right trend styles. Implemented new workflow processes to streamline design development and increase efficiencies to meet deadlines every season. Work cross-functionally with merchandising counterparts to assort the line and establish marketing messages (new fits, evolved fabrics, design inspiration). Manage team of four senior level designers and three junior level designers.

Managed the development of woven shirts, neckwear, pocket squares, woven boxers and loungewear reporting to Design Director of Wovens. Worked closely with production and fabric teams, as well as outside vendors, to develop new fabric qualities and maintain design schedule. Developed palettes, patterns, fabrications, and silhouettes to meet merchandising needs, while also evolving core ideas and introducing newness for sales growth. Partnered with merchandising team to assort the line; factoring in sales history and current trends. Managed Associate Designer, overseeing their work and fostering their development as a designer.

Managed the launch and daily operations of a Men’s and Women’s retail store in Brooklyn. Sourced brands that helped develop store identity based on the concept of a classic American open road story. Created graphics for store mailers, promotions, t-shirts, and website.

Managed daily operations of the Rogues Gallery’s flagship store. Worked with designer on visual merchandising plans for the retail store and New York showroom. Collaborated with PR manager to develop programs and events to promote the Rogues Gallery brand.
Biddeford Middle School Biddeford, Maine
CORE Mathematics Teacher, Aug. 2006 – June 2008
Taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math classes for students who were identified as at-risk and/or struggled in traditional math classes. Lesson had to be planned to meet school and state guidelines, as well as engage students. Extensive record keeping was used to track student progress, as well as evaluate the outcome of each lesson.
